In recognition of the vibrancy and imaginative nature of projects created through study, this year’s Interior Awards is proud to host its inaugural Student Category award. The prize celebrates work by tertiary students in selected interior related fields and hopes to take the daring and boundary-pushing design concepts out of the classroom and into the limelight. To this end, organisers are accepting built or unbuilt design concepts across all areas of interior design (except residential).

“This is an invaluable tool for the future movers and shakers in the field,” says Federico Monsalve, Editor of Urbis and Interior magazines and convener of the awards, “it offers unprecedented networking opportunities for students and a chance to celebrate imaginative and daring spatial solutions.”

To be eligible, entrants must be aged 28 or under and be currently studying full time in 3rd or 4th year or recently graduated (end of 2014) in the fields of interior design, spatial design or architecture.

The 2015 Student Award winner will receive a bespoke trophy, $1000 cash as well as coverage in the winter (June) issue of Interior magazine and recognition across AGM’s digital platforms and relevant industry magazines.
