Davina Harper, Dulux Colour & Design Specialist, says that this year, Dulux is expecting to see projects that use colour in an innovative way to accentuate and stimulate interior and exterior design spaces.

“Passion for colour is intensifying across Australia and New Zealand, and we are confident that this year’s program will see entries that understand not just how colour is used, but also how colour is considered and balanced in every submission.

The awards give architects and designers the opportunity to showcase their colour vision, whether that’s through incorporating current colour trends or setting the scene for the future of colour. We are excited to see submissions that push creativity to new heights,” she said.

Each category winner will receive prize money. All entries, except for the Student category, will also be in the running to take home the Grand Prix title. This year’s Grand Prix winner will be awarded AUD$5,000 to cultivate their creativity.

The 32nd Dulux Colour Awards winners will be announced and celebrated at a gala function in Melbourne, Australia at the National Gallery of Victoria on 10 May 2018.
