In celebration of women in architecture the AAA, in conjunction with A+W, will be touring three NZIA-award winning buildings designed by women. The projects are:

  • Newmarket Cottage by Lindley Naismith of Scarlet Architects 
  • Colin McCahon Artists’ Residence by Andrea Bell of Bossley Architects 
  • Unitec Landscape School building by Ginny Pedlow of Mitchell Stout Architects

A chartered bus will take participants to each location, where they will be introduced to the buildings by the project architects.

The tour runs from 11am to 3pm on Sunday 22nd September and is open to architects, architectural designers and students and the public. Tickets are available now and cost $50 or $40 for students. The bus will leave from the Unitec campus. For further information and to book your tickets, visit the website.

The tour carries CPD points (as applicable): NZRAB 30 points; ADNZ 4 points.
