Skateboarding vs architecture: A study of public space and materiality in Auckland City.

We’re a little slow off the mark – this short documentary was put up on Vimeo about four months ago (hat-tip to the Auckland Architecture Association for pointing it out). Still, it’s well worth a gander if you have a spare 15 on any given day. It’s about architecture, although landscape architecture might be the more pertinent moniker, and skating – a slick and concise production that puts forth a few sides of the story and a few ideas about how the city’s landscapes can be better prepared for use by all, including skateboarders.
