Entries open for the Interior Awards 2019 on 6 February.

The Interior Awards is now in its ninth year of celebrating New Zealand’s most innovative interiors, and our panel of expert judges will soon be on the lookout for your entries.

The 2019 categories include Retail, Hospitality, Workplace (up to 1,000m²) and Workplace (over 1,000m²), Civic, Emerging Design Professional, Craftsmanship, Student and, for the first time, Residential.

“The new residential category is a move to recognise, first, the high demand from entrants and the industry as well as the importance of commercially led, residential interior designs in the A&D industries,” said Federico Monsalve, editor of Urbis and Interior magazines and convener of the Interior Awards.

He continued: “It understands that both segments of the industry feed from each other, they share a lot in common and they can benefit from the connections that an event like this one can promote between them.”

A group of industry-leading sponsors joins us again in 2019, many of whom have supported the Awards since its inception in 2011.

A total cash prize of over $8,000 will be presented to the winners at the awards night in June. So, mark your calendars and get your submissions ready.
