The second stage of Oneoneroa is set to break ground in May and will feature 16 new homes on the North Shore, designed by Context Architects and developed by Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Properties. It is the first hapū-led residential development for Tāmaki Makaurau.

The construction of the second stage of housing comes after the first stage’s 13 homes were all sold last year. The 16 new residences will be built on the corner of Eversleigh and Lowe Street in Belmont, a suburb on the North Shore located between Takapuna and Devonport. Overall, Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Properties holds 20 hectares of land in the Oneoneroa development.

“There is a strong appetite for low maintenance, purpose built and stylish homes in this neighbourhood,” says Neil Donnelly, general manager of property development for Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei. “This is an exciting milestone for Oneoneroa as we break ground on these brand-new homes. The response to the first stage and our recent sale of four homes is a testament to the opportunity the Oneoneroa location and community offers home buyers. There is a strong appetite for low maintenance, purpose built and stylish homes in this neighbourhood.”
