New Zealand’s accident rate at work is double Australia’s and seven times that of the UK.

The Site Safe Construction Health and Safety Awards, now in its second year, recognises the successes the construction industry has made in promoting a health and safety culture in New Zealand.

Site Safe chief executive Alison Molloy says, “recognition of great work is so important to influencing the way people think – that’s why we are so proud to bring these celebrations to the industry.”
