CoreNet Global Forum: A Conference With Dr Craig Knight

Dr Craig Knight is a chartered psychologist with a background in office design and a PhD in the psychology of working and living space. He is based at the University of Exeter in the UK and is the head of Prism (Psychological research into identity and space management). His team have developed findings that are based on simple and cost effective workplace changes, that result in big benefits for building occupants and the companies they work for. Their methodology has seen increases in well-being of up to 40% and in productivity of up to 32%.

Developing this new dialogue between psychology, management and design has been at the heart of television documentaries and general media debate. Dr Knight is hoping to develop this interdisciplinary approach and challenge existing practices of space development and management.
