Held in Melbourne from 2–4 June 2016, DEN Fair is an experimental trade fair that brings together the most inspiring collaborative of talent and brand names under one roof to create an unprecedented platform for the interior and design industry to connect and do business.

The three-day event offers a fine selection of the best in contemporary furniture and design, lighting, textile and soft furnishings, home product design and homewares. With a strong focus on local emerging and established brands, DEN Fair also incorporates international original designer brands targeting interior designers, architects, stylists, decorators, specifiers and the retail sector.

One of the highlights of the fair will be the Seed to Seat collaboration by American Hardwood Export Council featuring designers such as David Trubridge, Adam Goodrum, Greg Natale and Todd Hammond. In response to a brief for ‘something to sit on’, each designer is creating a piece made from American cherry, tulipwood or red oak and, in Trubridge’s case, thermally-modified American ash. Their designs will be subject to a full Life Cycle Assessment, evaluating the environmental impact of each and every piece.

DEN Fair opening hours:

Thursday 2 June: 10 am – 9 pm (Trade only)
Friday 3 June: 10 am – 6 pm (Trade only)
Saturday 4 June: 10 am – 5 pm (Public permitted)

For more information and to register see the DEN Fair website.
