Sophie Dyring was awarded the Association of Women in Architecture Prize for an Outstanding Female Graduate by the Architects Registration Board of Victoria in 2001. Prior to beginning Gunn Dyring Architecture & Urban Design with Graeme Gunn in 2009 she worked as a sole practitioner. Her impetus to contribute positively to the built environment to improve lives has given focus to educational study tours for the past eighteen years and pro bono work for charities. In addition to practice, Sophie is a sessional lecturer at RMIT University teaching design in the Master of Architecture program. She is an active member of the Australian Institute of Architects. Her architectural practice is now called Schored Projects.
