Tony graduated from Melbourne University’s architecture school in 1981. He has specialised in energy efficient building ever since. Tony has been a lecturer in Thermal Performance, Energy Architect for the Ministry of Housing, Principal Project Manager for Sustainability Victoria, Adjunct Professor at RMIT, and has run his own business consulting with government and the building industry for over 10 years. His experience includes studies of the social determinants of energy use, running a 1000 unit per year public housing construction program, developing the FirstRate energy rating software and triple bottom line cost benefit evaluations for energy efficient building regulations. Tony has trained over 2,000 building industry professionals in the art of energy efficient building design and rating.
