2014 INSIDE Awards: local projects shortlisted
Ten New Zealand and Australian projects were among the sixty-one shortlisted at 2014 INSIDE World Festival of Interiors Awards. The awards this year attracted entries from twenty-eight countries across nine categories with submissions as diverse as a tent in Vietnam and a shipping container office in Ireland.
Organisers of the awards note the free flowing workplaces as a common theme globally with a number of shortlisted projects offering employees break out zones that create relaxed environments.
The New Zealand and Australian shortlisted projects include:

- NAB 700 Bourke St, Melbourne – Woods Bagot
Education and Health
- Abedian School of Architecture, Bond University, Gold Coast – CRAB Studio
- South Australian Health and Medical Institute (SAHMRI), Adelaide – Woods Bagot
Civic, Culture and Transport
- Regional Terminal at Christchurch Airport, Christchurch, – BVN Donovan Hill in association with Jasmax
- Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, Hobart – Francis Jones Morehen Thorp
Creative Re-use
- Sustainable Industries Education Centre, Adelaide – MPH Architects
Retail
- Adriano Zumbo Patisserie, Melbourne – Elenberg Fraser
Residential
- The Avenue, Sydney – Arent & Pyke in collaboration with TFAD
