Boaz Oh joins COX Architecture Auckland
Having worked most recently with Leuschke Group Architects, Boaz Oh joins COX Architecture as a Senior Architect in the Auckland Studio.
Oh brings a strong commitment to sustainable design to Cox Architecture, viewing it as essential to the architect’s role. Oh believes that architecture is a collective response to shared challenges, especially in moments of uncertainty and complexity. He considers architecture a human right, and is dedicated to promoting well-being through dignified design. According to Oh, Architects have a responsibility to create resilient spaces that influence how people live and interact, with each design choice reflecting a commitment to future generations.
Boaz Oh said he was excited to join COX and contribute to its design ethos, “For me, I’ve long respected the practice’s design legacy and its commitment to shaping places that respond thoughtfully to context, people, and environment. I’m looking forward to contributing to this vision, bringing my experience across all project typologies, collaborating with talented teams, and continuing to grow through the diverse and ambitious work COX is known for. I’m thrilled to be joining as a Senior Architect”.
COX Director Chris Millman welcomed the appointment, saying, “We are delighted to welcome Boaz Oh to our growing studio on the ground in Auckland and our wider COX global studio. His appointment recognises the importance of our commitment to Aotearoa, strengthening our design and technical capability as we continue to work on an increasing number of projects and partnerships across the country”.
