Bosch opens new Experience Centre
Partner Content: Originally established as a training facility for retail partners, the new Auckland space has evolved into a public-facing Experience Centre showcasing the best of Bosch innovation across cooking, dishwashing, laundry and refrigeration.
The Experience Centre has been designed to inspire architects, designers, developers, retail partners, commercial dealers and consumers. It features a fully operational kitchen and purpose-built zones for live pre- and post-purchase demonstrations, consultations and events.
The site will host architecture and design sessions, industry events and tailored programs to support retail partners and help consumers find the right solution for their needs. Rather than operating as a retail outlet, the Experience Centre is designed to inspire customers and support Bosch’s valued retail and trade partners.
To bring the concept to life, Bosch partnered with leading design product specialists to curate surfaces, fittings and hardware that elevate the overall experience. High-quality materials from Laminex, Hafele, Hettich, Austaron and Cosentino were selected to complement the appliances and demonstrate how considered finishes and details can transform a kitchen or laundry into a functional, beautiful space.

Designer Damian Hannah, who previously worked on the Bosch, Neff and Gaggenau showrooms for BSH, led the redesign and worked closely with Bosch’s global corporate identity team to deliver the new concept. By reconfiguring the layout and applying a considered design approach, the team increased usable space by 33 per cent. “I’m honoured to have been chosen to redesign the Bosch showroom in Parnell, continuing the journey that began with my original design in 2017. As the Bosch brand has evolved into a more design-driven home appliance leader, the new concept needed to reflect and celebrate that progression. The goal was to create a space that not only embodies Bosch’s refined design ethos but also engages the senses through a thoughtful mix of textures, finishes and materials. Working with such innovative and collaborative suppliers, all handpicked to complement the Bosch identity, made the process both inspiring and rewarding.” Damian Hannah, German Kitchens Limited.
The result is a space where thoughtful design meets practical inspiration, bringing Bosch innovation and partnerships to life for every visitor.
