Carolina Izzo is an internationally recognized art conservator and she was also the winner of the 2015 Interior Awards in the Craftsmanship category for her conservation of the painted dome ceiling in the Isaac Theatre Royal.

Now, Carolina’s studio offers its expertise and experience to students during the Sibyllam Field School in Itlay this October to November. The school offers art, architecture, design and cultural heritage professionals and students the chance to expand the knowledge base of their practice or enhance their studies. 

Join like-minded individuals in the opportunity to experience Italian cultural art and heritage first hand. Draw on the wide breadth of skills of the programme’s participants and professionals and add to your cultural understanding of global museum and cultural heritage.

Imbue your contemporary practice with hands-on experience of Italian art, architecture, and heritage. Explore methodology by drawing, participation, and talking to Italian art and heritage leaders. Go behind the scenes of major museums in Rome, Naples, and Florence. Complete a short course at Palazzo Spinelli in Florence. Live in Italy for three weeks in a multi-disciplinary group and have extraordinary access to Italian cultural heritage. 

The Sibyllam Field School is a great opportunity for people from a host of disciplines including registrars, museum professionals, conservators and architects. Students of museum studies, art history, anthropology, conservation-related chemistry, and archaeology are encouraged to come along.
