Designing Dreams returns, with a second six-episode series screening on Prime
Due to begin on Monday 14 August at 8.30pm on Prime, the second season of Designing Dreams sees host Matthew Ridge tour the country – and further afield – with well-known New Zealand architects Dave Strachan, Sally Ogle, Stacey Farrell, Anthony Hōete, Rafe Maclean and Hugh Tennent.
The six-part docu-series focuses on six local architects, as they talk about the projects and architects that have inspired their work as well as showing viewers a number of projects they have designed themselves.
Each episode sees Ridge visit three projects of special significance to the architect and the pair also take a tour of some of the architect’s own work.
The first series, which screened on Neon in 2021, featured Roger Walker, Nicholas Dalton, Anna-Marie Chin, Pip Cheshire, Julie Stout and Michael O’Sullivan. Episodes from the first series can be viewed here.
