Casper Vissers, co-founder and CEO of Dutch design group Moooi, visited Australia in July to present a series of talks on The Business of Design for Space Furniture.
Held in the Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne showrooms of Space Furniture, the Business of Design speaker series gives guests a rare insight into the entrepreneurship and commerce side of design from leading figures in the industry. This year, Space Furniture invited Moooi co-founder and CEO Casper Vissers to present. Casper is a business entrepreneur who joined forces with designer Marcel Wanders in 2001 to create Moooi.
During Casper’s presentations, he discussed the inner workings, business innovation and marketing strategies taken on at Moooi, and how he works alongside co-founder and creative mind Marcel.
He spoke with Artichoke editor Cassie Hansen during his visit about being Moooi’s business brain and the importance of failures in order to lead to success. Highlights of their conversation are featured in a two-part video series presented by Space Furniture and Artichoke.
