Interior Awards 2012 entries close April 20
Presented by Interior magazine, the awards are open to all New Zealand design professionals.
Online entries for Interior Awards 2012 are now open at www.interiorawards.co.nz. Finalists will be announced 09 May and will be required to make themselves available for a live presentation to jury end May. An awards function will be held in June.
A cash prize of $6,000 will be awarded to the Supreme winner.
A cash prize of $1,000 will be awarded to the Emerging Design Practice winner.
The Supreme winner will receive a bespoke trophy.
All category winners will receive bespoke trophies.
The winter issue of Interior will feature coverage of winners and their projects. Winning entries will also receive recognition across AGM’s digital platforms and relevant industry magazines.
The primary categories for entry are:
Retail - shops, retail outlets, showrooms, department stores, food markets, hairdressers, doctors and dentists’ rooms
Hospitality - cafes, bars, restaurants, motels, hotels, boutique lodges, day spas, casinos, clubs, cinemas, fitness centres
Corporate Workplace - offices, studios, warehouses, factories
Culture, Civic and Health - galleries, museums, concert halls, theatres, exhibition venues, places of worship, educational institutions, hospitals, libraries, community centres, consulates, law courts, parliamentary buildings, airports, railway stations, port and ferry terminals
Installation Design - temporary installations and structures, set design, galleries and museum exhibitions
The optional category for entry is Emerging Design Practice - where the Principal of the practice is less than 40 years old at the time of project completion.
