Five industry experts from an eclectic range of backgrounds and design expertise were on the jury panel for the 2015 Interior Awards – Andrew Barrie, Andrew Tu’inukuafe, Cecile Bonnifait, Emily Priest and Federico Monsalve.

Barrie is Professor of Design at The University of Auckland School of Architecture and Planning. His design work has won numerous awards (including installation award winner at the Interior Awards 2014) and been exhibited in New Zealand and internationally. He has authored books on the work of Toyo Ito and Shigeru Ban.

Tu’inukuafe, a director at Creative Spaces, leads the firm’s interiors practice and his recent projects include Auckland Council’s new workplace strategy and Kathmandu’s new HQ.

Bonnifait (Bonnifait+Giesen) is a Wellington-based, French architect and recent winner of the Wirihana Emerging Leadership Award (Architecture + women NZ) for work ranging across architectural and urban design projects.

Priest is a designer for Cheshire Architects working across fields of urban, interior, furniture, wallpaper, lighting and graphic design.

Monsalve is the editor of Interior magazine. He is a writer and journalist, and his work has appeared in a range of local and international media including The New Zealand Herald, Monocle (UK), Urbis, Flying Nun, ARTnews (NY) and Interior; and he is also convenor of the 2015 awards.

The 2015 Interior Awards sponsors is an exciting list of industry leading businesses, some have supported the Awards from their inception four years ago and some are bright newcomers to this highly anticipated event. The 2015 sponsors are:
