Jasmax announces new CEO
One of New Zealand’s largest architecture and design firms, Jasmax, has announced that their current managing principal Marko den Breems will be stepping down from his position in September 2018. He will be succeeded in a newly formed Chief Executive position by Sjoerd Post, an international executive with three decades of leadership experience at Shell International Trading Company and Refining New Zealand.
The company says, “Post’s appointment signals a realignment of business objectives for Jasmax as it nears its sixth decade in operation. He has a proven track record of revenue and organisational growth as CEO of Refining New Zealand.”
Chair of the board Karen Price says, “Sjoerd’s strong business focus will bring analytical rigour to this highly creative business. His values align with Jasmax’s keen social commitment. It is an exciting pairing for the future of the business and its clients.”
Marko den Breems has been with Jasmax for 24 years. He served as the managing principal for six years, and he will now be taking an extended break to spend time with his family and travel.
