This year marks Laminex’s third year of partnership with the Interior Awards, having come on board from 2022. We spoke to Sales Business Partners Nicola Mason, Kathie Valintine and Kim Moynagh about exciting updates to some of their product ranges and how satisfying it is to see Laminex’s products help Interior Awards entrants fulfill their design concepts.

Tell us about any recent innovations in your business that you would like interior designers and architects to know about.

Nicola Mason: This year holds some exciting range updates for some of our popular, trusted brands. Watch this space as we roll them out in the second half of the year. Sustainability has always been important to us at Laminex, and we’ve been doing things behind the scenes to achieve our goals and targets. What do you most enjoy about being involved with the Interior Awards?

Kathie Valintine: I love to see the finished projects that the clever designers create. The designs are always inspirational, and the beautiful spaces and environments are created for many people to enjoy, often for generations. Being involved in the Interior Awards allows us to support the designers and recognise these projects. Plus, it’s always exciting when I see Laminex products contribute to the beauty of a space, as that aligns so well with our purpose.

What are you looking forward to this year?

Kim Moynagh: I’m looking forward to viewing the 2024 Interior Awards live finalist presentations. It’s great to see the design thought process and progression, from the initial client concept, to its evolution and actualisation in the final stages of their projects.
