Model Citizens is back; register your team now
Model Citizens returns on 19 September as part of the Aotearoa Festival of Architecture. The event brings together teams from architecture and design studios in a friendly, fun-filled design and craft competition.
Teams will be tasked with creating a yet-to-be-revealed object with yet-to-be-revealed materials, and will need to create this object from a yet-to-be-revealed brief… all to be revealed on the night.
The team that wins will take home the coveted Model Citizens trophy — currently held by a team from SANNZ — along with ultimate bragging rights.
Delicious drinks and nibbles will be provided by our generous host ECC and event partner Resene. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Te Tāpui Atawhai Auckland City Mission to help make the city welcoming to everyone who lives in it.
