New issue of Architecture New Zealand out now
Architecture New Zealand’s September/October edition is out now – and in it you’ll find a showcase of the best architecture New Zealand has to offer, through varied projects such as the much-anticipated Len Lye Centre in New Plymouth, Auckland’s innovative Te Oro community centre, the 2015 Pacific Games village in Papua New Guinea and O’Sullivan Studio, designed by Michael O’Sullivan in a rather unconventional process.
Alongside the wide range of projects featured, there is an interview with Alejandro Haiek Coll of Lab.Pro.Fab and The Public Machinery, and with Michelle Johnson about Declare, a new ingredients label for building products. The 2015 Australasian Student Architecture Congress is reviewed by Natalie Bradburn, and Ryan Mahon takes an architectural study tour through the Iberian Peninsula.
Up-to-the minute news items, book reviews and an opinion piece by Joel Cayford on the plans for the Queen Elizabeth Square rounds out the September/October issue.
Published six times a year, Architecture New Zealand is the country’s most widely read and highly regarded architecture magazine. Each issue presents thoughtful insights, independent reviews of the latest projects, insightful comments on key issues, and news, views and informed discussion of practice matters.
