Katherine Skipper will now be at the forefront of Warren and Mahoney‘s Wellington studio leadership as well as taking up a board member position for the firm. Katherine has been with Warren and Mahoney since 2012 after spending 10 years running her own firm. She has led several notable Wellington projects including Toi Art, part of the five-year Te Papa renewal project.

Managing director at Warren and Mahoney, John Coop, comments, “Katherine is a talented and natural leader, and her appointment to the board is a major milestone for the practice as we proactively address diversity and create opportunities for all leadership talent.” The practice is one of several that have partnered with The Diversity Agenda to commit to bringing more women into the field.

Katherine says, “I am immensely proud to be appointed to the studio principal and board roles. Every day, the depth of talent in our studio team is inspiring and uplifting to me, and this, coupled with strong projected forward growth for the Wellington studio provides the canvas for a successful future ahead.”
