NZIA names president-elect
Wellington architect Judi Keith-Brown will take up the role of president of the New Zealand Institute of Architects in May 2020 when the two-year term of current president Tim Melville comes to an end. Keith-Brown will be the third female NZIA president, following Christina van Bohemen (2016–2018) and Helen Tippett (1989).
She has directed her own practice for 11 years, was a lecturer at Victoria University of Wellington’s School of Architecture for 10 years and has been a New Zealand Registered Architects Board assessor for 11 years.
The Institute notes, “Judi is an active Institute member who is widely experienced in the varied aspects of architectural practice and education.”
