On your marks…
Building on the successes of previous years, a panel of industry experts will begin the search for the country’s most awe inspiring spaces, interior craftsmanship and individuals from within the industry.
“Each year the competition has gone from strength to strength bringing to the fore a wide array of talent from practices both big and small,” says Federico Monsalve, editor of Interior magazine and convener of the awards for the third year running.
Last year’s awards saw the launch of what proved to be a highly successful Student category as well as the sub-division of the Workplace category to recognise workspaces up to 1,000m² and those over 1,000m².
According to Monsalve, “the nine categories of the awards give the judges a thorough look into the details and personalities that make the country’s best commercial interiors. We are all thrilled at the prospect of engaging with the industry again!”.
The awards programme also sees the arrival of some new sponsors and the continuation of previous ones, all of whom recognise the importance of awarding and cultivating excellence within our industry.
The award categories are: Retail, Hospitality, Workplace (up to 1,000m²) and Workplace (over 1,000m²), Civic, Installation, Emerging Design Professional, Craftsmanship and Student.
