RTA Studio announces new directors

Richard Naish, founder and executive director of Auckland-based architectural firm RTA Studio has announced two new directorship appointments for the company.

“Ben Hayes has accepted a new role as director,” says Naish. “While he will continue his role as an architect responsible for significant projects and clients within the studio, he will also increase his role in assisting me to manage the business and strategic direction of the company.

“Ben has been with us for almost 10 years and has made a significant contribution to the studio. His extensive experience in the design and delivery of commercial, retail, leisure and government projects has strengthened our ability to produce award-winning projects and provide the high quality service that our clients have come to expect.”

Also accepting a new role is Ben Dallimore, who has been appointed as project director.

“Ben has been with us for 8 years and has also made a significant contribution to the studio. Ben has helped develop and consolidate our reputation for delivering outstanding education buildings in the public and private domains of primary, secondary and tertiary sectors. He will also continue his role as an architect responsible for significant projects and clients within the studio, but will expand his role to assist in managing the studio’s staff, systems and high delivery standards.”

Given the new structure, Naish has taken on the role of executive director, while continuing as company director and owner.

“I look forward to continuing to work with all of our clients within this new senior management team and providing the personal service and high standard of design and delivery that we have become known for.”
