Warren and Mahoney named finalist in the 2021 Diversity Awards
The architecture firm is in the running for this year's Diverse Talent prize in this awards programme, which aims to recognize companies at the forefront of inclusion.
The awards are run by Diversity Works New Zealand, with Chief Executive Maretha Smit commenting on the acknowledgment of the need for more diverse workplaces: “This year’s entries demonstrated a significant improvement in strategic alignment between business outcomes and diversity and inclusion initiatives.”
Along with sponsoring and hosting an Architecture+Women•NZ panel, Warren and Mahoney is a founding member of The Diversity Agenda. The firm has also established an Advanced Māori Design Unit, Te Matakīrea, in order to further the development of indigenous architecture.
The winners of the 2021 Diversity Awards will be revealed on Wednesday, 1 September at an event in Auckland. For a full list of finalists, click here.
