At day two of the World Architecture FestivalWarren and Mahoney has won an award in the ‘Education – Future Projects’ category for their Lincoln University and AgResearch Joint Facility project in Christchurch, designed in association with Woods BagotBoffa Miskell and Labworks

Judges said that the design allowed for the creation of a building “with a profound relationship to both the cultural meaning and physical manifestation of the landscape”. They were particularly impressed with the way that six client partners, and the local community, were able to collaborate.

Two Australian projects were also Highly Commended on the second day of awards: Captain Kelly’s Cottage in Bruny Island, Australia by John Wardle Architects and Highgate Primary School New Teaching Spaces in Perth, Australia by Iredale Pedersen Hook Architects.
