Thirty-one projects have been shortlisted in the 2025 Wellington Architecture Awards. The shortlisted projects were selected from entries in the awards programme of the Wellington Branch of Te Kāhui Whaihanga New Zealand Institute of Architects.

The shortlist was compiled by a jury led by architect Ben Jagersma of First Light Studio and rounded out by Marc Woodbury (Studio Pacific Architecture), Raphaela Rose (Ahha), Ruby Somerville (Cheshire Architects) and lay juror Andy Spain.

The winners will be announced on Wednesday 28 May.
