Western Architecture Awards 2026: Shortlist announced
Thirteen projects have been shortlisted in the 2026 Western Architecture Awards. The shortlisted projects were selected from entries in the awards programme of the Western Branch of Te Kāhui Whaihanga New Zealand Institute of Architects.
The shortlist was compiled by a jury led by Craig Dalgleish of Dalgleish Architects and rounded out by Jono Murdoch (Ailtire Architects), Renee Woods (Renee Woods Architect) and lay juror Sandra Henderson (Sandra Henderson Photography).
The winners will be announced on Friday 29 May.
