Registered Master Builders’ House of the Year Awards

The national finalists have been announced in the Registered Master Builders’ 2011 House of the Year and RMB Commercial Project Awards, in association with PlaceMakers. These Gold Reserve medal winners represent the best of more than 530 entrants in 19 regional competitions held throughout New Zealand during June, July and August.

Now in its 20th year, the competition has grown from strength to strength. From humble beginnings in 1991, with just 120 entries across four categories, the awards this year featured an impressive array of entrants across 25 categories. The Gold Reserve finalists will now vie for New Zealand’s top three building honours – PlaceMakers Supreme Awards for the House of the Year and Renovation of the Year; and the RMB Commercial Project of the Year.
