CoreNet NZ’s annual NABERSNZ event series is back for 2018.
EECA Business in collaboration with the New Zealand Green Building Council (NZGBC) has introduced NABERSNZ™ – a scheme to measure and rate the energy performance of office buildings in New Zealand.
The first event will be hosted by Miranda James, head of corporate responsibility at Panuku Development Auckland. Miranda will discuss the Lysaght building’s NABERSNZ rating, as well as Panuku’s ongoing energy efficiency plans.
The Lysaght building has been a part of the Auckland Waterfront history for the last 90 years, undergoing a refurbishment and reopening in 2015. It has many great features, including a 45-metre-long lane which runs along the northern face of the building offering views through to Viaduct Harbour, and a raingarden for stormwater treatment.
The building is currently occupied as an event and business community office space for GridAKL. Under Panuku Development, the Lysaght building achieved a 4.5 Star Base Building rating.
This event starts at 5.30pm and is free for CoreNet members and sponsors.
