Fast Forward lecture series: Ree Anderson
Ree Anderson talks about the Housing Project Offe at Auckland Council. Anderson led the establishment of the office, creating a new way of doing business. The office is tasked with tackling housing challenges in Auckland and implementing the Auckland Housing Accord. The office is project-based, whole-of council and manages end-to-end policy and delivery.
Prior to this, Ree led, with the Chief Planning Officer, a team responsible for the development of the Auckland Plan – the first spatial plan for Auckland. She shaped the architecture of the Auckland Plan based on the European Regional Spatial Planning (Torremolinos) charter.
This talk is part of the University of Auckland’s ongoing Fast Forward lecture series, where outstanding practitioners in the fields of architecture, planning and urban design present their work for discussion and debate.
