Sustainable Housing Summit – panel discussion
Housing affordability is a significant issue for many New Zealand families, the economy and government. How can we address affordability and still provide quality, sustainable homes?
NZGBC will be holding a panel discussion during the Sustainable Housing Summit designed to address these issues and ask the hard questions:
- Do we need a new model to define affordability beyond the cost of construction?
- Does investment in housing need to be part of a wider sustainable agenda that considers long term benefits (financial and societal) to families and individuals in terms of improved health, education and economic benefits?
- And more…
Panel members include architect Pip Cheshire, senior urban designer Tim Robinson and PrefabNZ CEO Pamela Bell.
