Dr Anthony Brand teaches architecture history and theory at the University of Auckland. He joined the University of Auckland in 2011, where he completed his PhD Touching Architecture: a felt-phenomenology of affective atmospheres and embodied encounters. His research explores the ways in which we touch (and are touched, affected and effectuated by) our surroundings.
