Dr. Stacy Vallis is a lecturer in architecture at Huri Te Ao School of Future Environments, Auckland University of Technology. Stacy’s research specialises in urban resilience to environmental hazards, including climate change, driven by the applications of emerging technologies for the documentation, assessment, and retrofit of existing buildings. Since completing her doctoral studies in architecture at the University of Auckland in 2020, she has worked in professional practice in Australia and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Digital Futures at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. Currently, Stacy is the President of ICOMOS Aotearoa New Zealand, a non-governmental organisation dedicated to the conservation of cultural heritage sites nationally and across the world, headquartered in Paris, France.
