Auckland architect Eqo Leung from Architecturepublic has recently unveiled a Remuera home with significant sculptural forms that respond to height-to-boundary restrictions.

“The idea of the design is to work with the height-to-boundary recession planes, and the angles generated… to create a very contemporary and sculptural form,” says Leung. The fibre-cement structure sits in an hourglass-shaped, nine-metre-wide site and uses a language of pinched, faceted walls, which translate into sculpture both in and outdoors.
