Office design continues to evolve at a rapid pace, and the cubicle cities of the late 1900s are quickly becoming as much an anachronism as are the Dickensian workhouses of the early Industrial Age. Recognising that today’s digital workplace brings a unique set of challenges, corporate best practice takes a more holistic approach to staff facilities and employee well-being.

The underlying premise is that employees who are happy and healthy – in every sense of the word – will bring about a more positive and productive workplace. The CoreNet Symposium takes place on 25 June at Shed 10, Queens Wharf in Auckland. The symposium will bring together industry leaders to discuss these initiatives and how to integrate them into day-to-day office functionality.

Corenet Global New Zealand Symposium has hunted far and wide to gather together a host of great speakers from around the world to talk about how taking a holistic approach to Corporate Real Estate (CRE) can have a positive impact on organisations.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Jim Taylour: Designer and Ergonomist. Head of Ergonomics at Orangebox.
  • Dylan Martyn: Workplace strategy, product co-creation, research into activating workplace communities and co-design. Strategic Services Manager at Haworth.
  • Rosanne Sullivan: Naturopath and Educator. Naturopath, Medical Herbalist, Educator & Co-Founder at The Wellbeing Centre.
  • Stella Green: Human Resource Manager and Marketer. Principal Consultant at Be Confident Change Consulting.

The pre-symposium soiree will be hosted at The Wintergarden, located in the Northern Club, 19 Princes Street, Auckland Central.
