Following on from last year’s course offering, the Creating Living Buildings Practitioner short course will be held in Auckland on 9-10 June.

The two-day block course is complemented by a series of weekly webinars, with the aim being for students to apply the practical knowledge gained to a real project and complete a learning journal or diary as the course work submission.

The course fee is $968 (inclusive of GST) per student. EECA has provided funding towards a bursary for small practices and masters students. Interested parties can contact Jerome Partington or Steve Henry requesting a bursary and the reasons why.

The course – which is designed for people who want to upskill for sustainability and create change for good in the built environment – targets a mix of clients, architects, project managers and engineers to reflect the diversity on project teams and create a richer dialogue in the sessions.

Offered by The Centre for Sustainable Practice (Otago Polytechnic), the course will be held on Tuesday, 9 June and Wednesday, 10 June, from 9am to 4pm. Detailed course information is available on the Otago Polytechnic website.
