Congratulations to this year's Workplace over 1000m2 Award winner - Work Club Olderfleet by Clark Bardsley Design

The jurys comment:

“This sensitive design response to a beautiful historic building has delivered a post-Covid work and host environment where great care has been taken to integrate the fit-out and spatial concepts into the character of the heritage surround. Its success lies in combining a grandness of scale and rawness of materiality while overlaying more-relaxed, moody touches of home comfort. There is a richness and sophistication of materials and space and a feeling of being ‘hosted’ throughout. This is certainly a successful concept both to engage with the community and entice tenants back to the ‘office’, creating a number of ways to work, collaborate, relax and socialise.” - Interior Awards 2022 jury.

“Olderfleet is a large and complex high-rise development within a heritage environment. Work Club’s brief was to connect all the elements of the building together from a human perspective with a network of services, event programming and spaces. Corporate environments post Covid-19 must work harder to attract and retain tenants. Olderfleet needed to become a place people wanted to be, because they feel welcome, comfortable, deeply connected and inspired.”  - Clark Bardsley.
