New Chief Executive for Context Architects

Katrina Hall is set to take up the newly created role of Chief Executive at Auckland-based Context Architects.

Katrina Hall.

Currently the general manager of client experience and operations, Hall has worked internationally as an executive in a range of fields, including construction and professional services during her time in corporate leadership roles at engineering firm Opus International.

Previously, the responsibilities were held by managing director and co-owner Steven Voyle, who will continue to work with key clients to further innovation as principal owner of the 65-member integrated design business.

Director of the Context board, Murray Dobson, says the appointment reflects Context’s “commitment to making design value a key part of clients’ strategic enablers. Katrina has a proven track record in strategic commercial management, and she puts the client at the heart of the business. She understands design thinking and how to unleash the creativity of designers, and how to get that creativity to align with commercials and risk. This can only be a positive for our clients moving forward.”
