As Plus Architecture marks its 25th year of operation, it has made new senior appointments across Australia and New Zealand - with the Auckland studio welcoming Marc Ritmeester as a strategic new hire to support the New Zealand team's continued growth.

Plus Architecture welcomes Marc Ritmeester, an architect with 25+ years’ experience, as a new Associate in Auckland.

Plus Architecture say “Marc has a talent for building highly collaborative and long-lasting relationships with clients to exceed expectations. He has a passion for the technical aspects of architecture, combining exceptional attention to detail with human-centered design. He offers a rare talent for leading multi-disciplinary teams effectively while still pushing the limits of technological design”.

Marc says, “The Plus team continues to deliver industry-leading work, and that’s the innovative and best-practice approach that excites me for the next chapter of my career. It’s been great to watch Plus continue to pioneer new approaches and with my personal interest in pushing the limits of technological design - it felt like a natural alignment in vision and values.”

Marc continues “In joining the Plus team, locally in Auckland and more broadly across the business, I’m confident I will not only be amongst like-minded colleagues but also working alongside the industry’s best.”

Plus Architecture has also made new senior appointments across Australia and New Zealand, citing unprecedented growth across the Asia-Pacific region. The appointments include nine promotions of existing talent and three new hires, two of which are newly created positions. All part of a future-fit strategy that Plus Architecture say looks to facilitate the practice’s continued growth and capabilities as it enters the next quarter-century.

Plus Architecture Director, Ian Briggs said that “when it came to team recruitment and retention across each office the business followed one rule: find great talent, provide support and structure and then get out of their way”. Briggs continues “We are proud of our people, and proud that Plus Architecture is a company that both attracts and retains world-class creatives,”
