Movers and Shakers: Designing for Resilience is the theme of the 2012 NZILA Conference. The conference will discuss this theme and will feature a diverse range of speakers, workshops and networking opportunities.

Prompted by the Canterbury earthquakes, this year’s NZILA conference focusses on the issue of resilience in the event of natural disasters. Along with all those affected by the disaster Canterbury landscape architects are now veterans and consequently have learnt a great deal about ourselves, our responses and our preparedness – or as the case may be, lack of it.
