Timber is admired for its looks and structural properties but is it a sustainable product that architects, designers and builders should be using? These questions and more will be discussed at the Specifying and Detailing Timber seminar, which will look at the sustainable qualities of timber and identify the benefits of using the material, including recycled timber, in architectural applications. It will also cover the practicalities of timber supply and use, and how to ensure timber designs turn out the way they are planned.

Guest speakers will include Colin MacKenzie from Timber Queensland in association with WoodSolutions, Michael Kennedy from Kennedy’s Timbers, Jim Gall from Gall Architects and Michael Hogg from Donovan Hill.

The seminar will start at 6 pm. Registration is essential.
