New Zealand’s most celebrated foodie festival, Taste of Auckland, is set to take place at Western Springs in November. The festival, which has doubled in size in the past five years, attracted more than 23,000 visitors in 2013.

This year foodies can expect the opportunity to explore some of the most exciting Auckland restaurants (The Oyster Inn, Depot and Farina are among them). Visitors will also watch top New Zealand and international chefs – including Australian sommelier Matt Skinner, Masu’s Nic Watt and Geoff Scott from Vinnies – cook right in front of them.
