Art and Architecture of the City Walk

A hit from last year’s Heritage Festival, the Art & Architecture of the City Walk, runs on the second Saturday of every month. It is an entertaining discovery experience exploring the city’s natural history, heritage and culture.

Visit the iconic Endeans and Blackett’s Buildings, architect Peter Beaven’s unique Canterbury Arcade at 47 High Street and the Gus Fisher Gallery in the old Broadcasting Studio “fortress” at the top of Shortland Street. As you stroll between the buildings, your Auckland Walks guide will tell some of the stories of Auckland.

Meet outside the Harbour Information Centre, Pier 1, Downtown Ferry Terminal.
