Sarah joined Isthmus in 2005 after returning from five years working as a landscape architect in the United Kingdom. Sarah has a broad range of experience on projects ranging from public realm strategies, residential and mixed-use masterplanning and the design of community parks of a range of scales. Sarah has a strong interest in site planning and the reinterpretation of historic landscapes for contemporary use, and has developed expertise in concept development, design development and detailing. Having worked on a number of public realm strategies and design guides in New Zealand and the UK, Sarah has an understanding of the role of policy and best practice design guides in achieving quality design outcomes.
