The Eat Drink Design Awards has announced the winning projects for 2016 and Auckland’s Saan Restaurant has been highly commended in the Restaurant Design category.

Saan, which was designed by Cheshire Architects, is a highly bespoke solution to the restaurant’s traditional Thai cuisine.

The Eat Drink Design Awards programme reflects how the hospitality sector is defining its interiors. The event recognises the best in hospitality interior design across Australia and New Zealand.

Winners of the annual Eat Drink Design Awards were revealed in Melbourne on 8 November.

Full list of winners and commended projects can be seen here.
